Prestigious admission by Europe’s leading university       

 Ayşegül Kahraman, Research Assistant at Yaşar University’s Department of Energy Systems Engineering, has been admitted as a doctoral student by the Technical University of Denmark, which is considered one of the most prestigious technical universities in Europe. The young scientist will do her doctoral study on “unlocking the flexibility of multi-energy system using artificial intelligence approaches” and spend one year of the 3-year program at the institute located in Shenzhen, China.

Ayşegül Kahraman, a young scientist from İzmir, has been admitted as a doctoral student by the Technical University of Denmark, which is one of the leading technical universities in Europe with a history of 192 years that ranks among the top universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Ayşegül Kahraman graduated from Yaşar University’s Faculty of Engineering Department of Energy Systems Engineering and has her double major in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Kahraman then also completed her master’s degree in the same field. Ayşegül Kahraman, Research Assistant at the Department of Energy Systems Engineering, carried out studies on energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, monitoring and control of energy systems in buildings.

CHINA- AND DENMARK-BASED STUDIES

To inform about the project that she will be studying on as a doctoral student for 3 years, Kahraman said:

“The name of the project is ‘unlocking the flexibility of multi-energy system using artificial intelligence approaches’. The project offers an advantage so I spend 1 year of the 3-year program at an institute located in Shenzhen, China and receive a graduation certificate from the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences provided that I fulfill the criteria.”

Emphasizing that she has always believed that all the efforts will be rewarded one day, Kahraman advised, “This is why I believe everyone should pursue their dreams and never give up on them.”
